My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favour and a good name in the sight of God and man.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, do not lean on your own understanding.

Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.

Honour the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD discplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.

One night, God was speaking to me specifically, rather than putting focus on the gospel, I have been putting too much distractive and empty attention on false imagination.

Jeremiah 23:15

Lying Prophet

Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty says concerning the prophets:

"I will make them eat bitter food

and drink poisoned water,

because from the propehts of JERUSALEM

ungodliness has spread throughout the land."

This is what the LORD almighty says:

"Do not listen to what the prophes are prophesying to you;

they fill you with false hopes.

They speak visions from their own minds,

not from the mouth of the LORD.

They keep saying to those who despise me, "The LORD say: You will have peace."

And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say: " No harm will come to you."

But which of them has stood in the council of the LORD to see or to hear this word?

Who has listened and heard his word?

See, the stom of the LORD will burst out in wrath,

a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked.

The anger of the LORD will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart.

In days to come you will understand it clearly.

I didn't send those prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied.

But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evel ways and from their eveil deeds.

"Am I a God who is only close at hand?" says the Lord. "No, I am far away at the same time."

"Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am i NOT everywhere in all the heavens and earth?" says the Lord.

I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, I had a dream! I had a dream! How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds? They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name, just as their fathers forgot my name through Baal worship.

Let the prophet who has a dream tell his dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. For what has staw to do with grain?" says the LORD.

"is not my word like fire," says the LORD, "and like hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"

"Therefore, i am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me." says the LORD. " Yes, I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare." The Lord declares.

"Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams," declares the LORD.

"They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit those people in the least." declaires the Lord.

Even though the Lord's words sound really scary when it comes to the unrighteousness deeds and when we idolize ourselves to the same position as God.

He still declaires his mercy in Jeremiah 24 6&7

My eyes will watch them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them. I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I WILL BE THEIR gOD, FOR THEY WILL RETURN TO ME WITH ALL THEIR HEART.

God told me about this as recently I have been putting too much attention in seeking the ability to vision or prophesing. Sometimes, even when I have a dream in the night and I will wake up in the morning and think the LORD speaks to me viciously through the dream and immediately call my best up and tells her that dream was from the LORD. I just realized how foolish and self-seeking I was to take such an action, and the LORD is definitely not pleased about it because he loves me so much, he does not even want me to walk astray for a tiny bit because I am the daughter he loves so much, so he showed me the passage in Jeremiah 23 to tell me not to lean on my own limited and self-seeking intelligence. Rather so, I should always put my heart & sight on the gospel that Jesus died for my sin on the cross, and only find true hope & answer in JESUS's Salvation.

Isaiah 58:6-12

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the ppor wandered with shelter--

when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear;

then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your real guard.

Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

If you do away with the yoke of oppression with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves on the behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness,

and your night will become like the noonday.

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.

He will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

This is a really great reminder, I felt like sometimes I have been too drunk on the priviledge of God's love & mercy and power, to the point that I idolize myself as God and think I have the power to do his will for the purpose of drawing intention and people's affirmation rather than really glorifying his will and bring honor to who he truly IS.

Our God is a compassionate God, he is not a God who plays with power & magic, and the only intention that he did the work was simply for the purpose of bring people closer to the heavenly father.
